A modern way to manage and maintain public assets
Logic Connect is the ideal software platform for local and central government organisations to manage their people and their assets. Councils across multiple countries currently use the Logic Connect features to track their workforce, vehicles and other assets in a range of indoor and outdoor settings.
Smart strategies for essential services
Councils and other public service organisations are constantly under pressure to achieve more within their allocated budgets. Logic Connect provides visibility into how available assets can be best utilised to increase efficiencies and reduce costs, for example, using GPS tracking and route history can assist with optimising maintenance rounds.
Geofencing
Our geofencing feature can be used to provide proof of service reports to record when maintenance was carried out on public assets such as parks, toilets or other facilities.
Asset service reminders
Meanwhile, the ability to proactively schedule maintenance using asset service reminders can help pre-empt problems and avoid downtime when it is least convenient.
Voice recording
Logic Connect’s voice recording feature is another useful tool with a variety of applications including quality control, training, health and safety auditing, or resolving customer queries or complaints.
Keeping workers safe
Indoor tracking
Logic Connect’s indoor tracking function makes it easy to monitor the location and safety of staff and visitors at large public facilities, while live GPS tracking allows your organisation to know where all of your vehicles and people are out in the field.
Health and safety
Having staff working alone in high-risk situations is a key health and safety issue for many organisations but this can be mitigated using Logic Connect’s Lone Worker feature. When Lone Worker mode is on, the employee will be prompted to report in at pre-determined time intervals.
Logic Connect’s other health and safety features include:
Notification button
An emergency notification button, activated by user.
Man down alarm
A “Man Down” alarm (which is triggered if a worker’s radio is subject to a significant G-force or remains horizontal for a defined period of time).
Geofencing
Geofencing which can be used to notify supervisors if a staff member enters an area identified as restricted or hazardous.
